| One body, two voices. | Born to a father who didn't want him and raised by an overbearing mother and watchmaker father, Gabriel learned the tricks of the trade at a fairly young age. Despite his mother's insistence that he could be anyone, Gabriel followed in his father's trade and became a watchmaker. Quiet and introverted, Gabriel is Sylar's balance. | Born from a moment of childhood trauma and cultured in a mind that had no one else to turn to, Sylar flourished in a cracked psyche. Beginning as a fragment but quickly becoming dominant, Sylar took the watchmaker's life and turned it upside down, pursuing power with an endless appetite. His relationship with Gabriel is less than healthy but something neither can live without. | What if it were more than just a cracked psyche and a split decision to be someone else? What if there were a definite division between the two men that was evident at least within their own mind, even if they chose not to openly share it with the world? What if one man's ambition and cruelty led to the other's finding something that could sustain him? What if Gabriel and Sylar were two minds, two souls, trapped in one body?
